It is literally freezing in Jacksonville. For those of you that don’t know, this is extremely rare this early in December! Don’t get me wrong, I love the cold (in small doses, I must admit), but since my fingers still haven’t quite thawed out from my drive to work, I thought I’d share this picture. I just think the colors are so warm and it reminds me of a summer sunset, even though it was taken about two days ago. Happy December, and try to stay warm!
To be jolly. To decorate the tree. To bake an obscene amount of Christmas cookies. To drink nog. To watch Christmas movies. To make our annual gingerbread house. To have hot chocolate by the fire. To listen to Christmas music. To wrap presents. To hang up stockings. To enjoy family and friends.
Hands down, Christmas is my favorite holiday. Everything about the holiday season makes me happy, and this weekend officially kicked off Christmas at the Clements home — the house is decorated, both inside and out, the gingerbread house is made, and as a bonus, Florida is actually feeling wintery!!
